my name is Rachel Thomas and I have a son who 16 he's going to be a junior this year and Abigail's 12 shealy in this add grade  it was a lot of thought in a lot of my niece and nephew both attended Westminster there were Local Schools where we live that I just didn't feel where the right schools for my kids it was a lot of prayer because then you would be a lot of sacrifice to get them there but once we visited the campus that's when I knew I failed at home this was the place where I wanted my kids to go to school and to be a part of I went to Haiti with my daughter Abigail and my niece Elizabeth it was both their first time where did I see Jesus I have to relate back to the previous trip to Haiti let me get emotional here the banana girl she was one of many kids I would say maybe six or seven child in line and they couldn't afford to feed her and they drove probably three 4 hours just to bring her which the mom being I am in the other moms with us we really got upset because it's like you say something like that which you know we're not used to that it's not something that we hear every day in fact I don't think we've ever heard of that before and we were just like she's not going to die what time so we just we prayed on the way there and it just like Ford touch this baby heal her make her whole so that being said you know they took her she didn't die she lived so when we return to Haiti for Easter I wouldn't say it's a year was almost a year and when I saw the child that was so to Die the next day she had the biggest smile on her face she was able to hold her head up the best way she could she had just just a life and the love and the radiance coming out of her her smile she had gained weight it just it was just a life-altering experience it was just the best thing I've probably witnessed in my whole entire life to see that this child lived only place they took her in they loved on her they prayed over her and she was fed  spiritually and physically you know it was amazing to experience that what I could do with my hands I think my husband and I have set our hands to the plow already and that we took our experience with Haiti scene orphans in seeing that they need to be loved and cared for it's the same thing here in Opelousas where we take it to you kids church we just use with what's in Hands by reaching out to these kids preaching the gospel 11 on these kids and showing them this is what Jesus is Jesus is a hug Jesus is Jesus is carrying Jesus is going out whether it's to your community you know if you have the funds and you're able to you know go overseas that's what's in your so if it's just staying in your town hair community needs us they need love they need they need Jesus so let's preach the gospel by being Jesus to these kids I am a parent at Westminster Christian Academy and I am a world changer do you want to be a Westminster world-changer there are a lot of ways that you can be a world changer one of those ways is my help how to raise funds for Westminster and by feeding children across the globe at the same time with the word of God everyday join together with other students and families with a common purpose to make a difference and choose today to make a difference through feed the name and State change for more information to come
