Pastor Amidon asked the students, “How Do you Know that You are a Christian?”
He referenced John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine dresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit."
Start off looking at the fruit in your life. The fruit shows evidence of a transformation, repentance, a thirst for the Word and making disciples for the kingdom of God. The fruit doesn't come from our own righteousness but by abiding in Jesus Christ. Pastor Amidon challenged the students to examine the fruit in their own lives.
