We were blessed to welcome 2026 WCA graduate Lindsey Lanclos back to campus to lead Elementary Chapel yesterday! Lindsey encouraged our Crusaders through Matthew 6:33, reminding them to “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.” She challenged students to think about the many gifts God has given us - our families, His mercy, His love, our talents, our friendships, and so much more. She also reminded us that Jesus wants to be our closest friend. We often become like the people we spend the most time with, so what happens when we spend time with Jesus? We begin to look more like Him - to love, serve, forgive, show kindness, and choose what is right. And serving Him doesn't only happen in big ways. We can serve God in the everyday things - doing our homework, helping with chores, being kind to someone who needs a friend, obeying, and doing what is asked of us...with a happy heart! Ms. Lindsey even brought back a lesson she learned during her own preschool years at Westminster: “Obey all the way, right away, with a happy heart.” What a special full-circle moment to have one of our own graduates return and pour into the next generation of Crusaders.
