podcast time to teach you to how to use the PowerSchool Parent Access the first thing you need to know is that you can go to westminster's website at ww.w. And then you can choose the parents and once you chose in the parents link there is a portal for a PowerSchool Parent right here and you can see that this is the URL for how particular Laxus  and you will use username and password that you've created or you will use the one that has been given to you by with your child's information on it and go ahead and type that in there and I'm going to go ahead and type mine in there and you remember at least your password that you used or or username you should be able to access that information through this link I'm not going to do that right now I'm just going to click sign in if you still can access you can contact me at Jason Buckner at w so you going to click sign in and this is going to give you that child access now noticed that my son shows up right away you're going to choose account preferences if you have more than one child and I want you to notice there's a QQ CR code that is in Central for logging in on your phone right there this is a code that you need for logging into your phone so now once you've got your profile hear you can change its information and put whatever username and whatever password you want notice it has to be 6 characters long and here's where your students are listed I noticed that I already have listed but if you have other children that you want to add you just click on ADD and here is where you would put their name their access ID and access password given you by if you don't have that information you obviously need to get that from the school and just call and contact the secretary of the division that relates to you and you can put all the cremation and click okay and it will add those and so you will be able to use more than one child up here on this on this toolbar right here so once you've done that now you have access to all your children's information and you can keep track of what your child's doing great wise as well as attendance in the next section you going to learn how to use the app on your phone using this qqc are code which I have already alluded to in this podcast you're going to learn how to download and use the app the PowerSchool app from the App Store so first turn music on iPhone and so obviously whatever smartphone you have go find your apps on your and then go ahead and look for PowerSchool I've tied Popo there is power school I'm going to choose PowerSchool and you're going to choose PowerSchool mobile and then you click the little Cloud wait for it to download now as is downloading I'm going to mention that you need three pieces of information you need to school access code which is QQ CR and you need your username and password especially if you recreated it one to fit all of your students so once you got that you're going to choose open and then go ahead and type plow and then for your district code for q q c r and then put your username and obviously will have to change my password because you all see it  Southern Sun Buckner and my password and then click sign in and that's all you have to do to access this information and I'm going to go to the assignments and you can see you got several different options down here that you can look at it to see what's coming up for your child as well as what how the hell they're currently doing you can even find some training information for example if you look at here under settings you'll notice that there's a display trending Sophie Childs is improving or going down you'll know that as well as some other cool features you just have to experiment that without a little bit I hope this sat this is help can contact me if you have problems or contact the secretary of the school if you need to get a your username and password thank you and have a great day
