In our efforts to continue improving the quality of education at Westminster Christian Academy, we are implementing new curriculum in preschool through 2nd grade on both campuses. Manners of the Heart is an instructional program designed to build character, strengthen morals and increase respectfulness. Paired with our rigorous Biblically integrated academic offerings, we will continue equipping students with the head knowledge to lead and the heart knowledge to lead in the right direction.

at Westminster Christian Academy the heart of education is educating the heart if the heart the child are not met a brilliant mind will be wasted recently we asked you to preschool through 2nd grades what is more important being smart or being listen to the insightfulness of our own children mark is really doing anything are there super games princesses Night Ranger King why take the world thanks for anti allergy allergy kind it's not all about me smart into Shanghai  Starry Skies being kind is better than being smart is good not that kind but me  God wants us to be kind so weird really smart but the most important thing in the sky  our children know the best answer they know that heart and had knowledge are intertwined that one cannot be separated from the other they know which comes first heart knowledge in our efforts to continue improving the quality education at Westminster Christian Academy we're implementing new curriculum in preschool through 2nd grade on both campuses manners of the heart is an instructional program does to build character strength and morals and increase respectfulness paired with our rigorous biblically integrated academic offerings we will continue equipping students with the head push to lead and the Heart knowledge to lead in the right direction at Westminster Christian Academy we get to we get to teach our children with kindness looks like remote Pro kindness actions in our classrooms and on our playgrounds instead of promoting an anti-bullying campaign we get to teach self-respect instead Office Team Jill Rigby Garner the founder and CEO of manners of the heart teaches of the difference between teaching self esteem vs self respect front of that goal of building self-esteem in our children here's what we're really doing we're taking crown and we're putting in our childhood but rather than saying the plants are princesses home and I'm going to walk and see because my goal is going to be like you happy and put it in front of them I can see in the mirror and that's themselves now even one step farther than that when our tile looks in the mirror they only see themselves but I can't see through the mirror to see others looking at them nor can I see others we're the ones who have become an obstacle to children finding their place to finding your purpose to becoming all that they were created to be because we're raising them in a mirror on now instead of an era we smashed Amira walk away from it and said I'm going to raise my children with self-respect rather than the mirror we took them to the wind test  the window you know when you look through a window you see your own reflection in the class but you see Italy on yourself into the world Beyond there's a balance we need for our children where they in light of how they're going to make a difference in the world world at the window rather than raising a child in the mirror we're their only concern with how the world is going to serve me
