A Bit About Me

Wendy Schmit

Welcome to K4 D! It is a pleasure to have your child in my class! I am grateful and excited about the opportunity to get to know your child and see what God has in store for us this year. Should you need anything, I am here to assist you via phone, text, or email. This is my fifth year teaching, but my first year at Westminster Christian Academy. I graduated from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and an Early Childhood Development add on. I have two amazing children, Jon and Emma. I am also married to the most amazing man, Dan Schmit. I enjoy spending time with my family, running marathons with my husband, reading, and eating pizza.

Let’s partner together and make this a blessed and memorable year! Thankfully, the Lord is good and faithful to guide us through every season as we keep our hearts and eyes upon Him.
