need the purpose of this podcast is threefold I want to show you how you can change your inbox around a little bit to maybe make it easier to see what things you haven't haven't read how I found out to be helpful for myself the other thing I want to show you is how to create a group so that you can send email to all of your students about a prod are some other thing I'll maybe it's all of your parents however you want to do that or maybe a group of people that are part of a project for the school teacher call tasks that you can add your test to First you want to show you is under settings so you can walk to the right and you choose the expansion Arrow settings you just click on it and then you click settings one more time now there is a lot of different settings you can adjust and I encourage you to play around with those things it doesn't hurt to kind of discover on those things going to go to inbox and there is a bunch of favorite features under and box that you can select and adjust I don't complain to by any stretch of the majun to be an exhaustive resource for Gmail but I have discovered that if I select unread first it makes my life a little bit is there a finding about things that people have sent me that I don't know about and so I'm going to click on on red and I have an option to show that 25 items for example I have red can you can you can pick out whatever you think is necessary and then I have 50 that of everything else and it's important to click on Save changes now because you click on those things doesn't mean it's going to change right away you have to click back on your inbox and low and behold it's going to to show up as those things should I read and then the things that are on red so when you click tiny inbox you can see all these things are bold because they're on red and then everything else is here so if you find that be helpful great if not well then we'll just move on now the next thing that I want to show you his how to create a group and there will be times like a sad when you might want to have a group of things and they don't currently exist so you have to click where it says mail and you choose contacts and all you need is one contact to start a group right now it doesn't show anything so I know that murder Brooks is going to be one of the people in my Technology Group so I'm going to click on here and now I can choose groups can I type the word technology because I want her in my Technology Group so I hit enter and create new and she should now be a part of this Technology Group if I click on technology there she is now there's other people in this group all over that I want and there might not be in my car so what do I do while I can go back to my mail and it just so happens that I'm going to do a search for Dexter because Dexter is the one that's kind of spearheading the fact we're going to form this group in South I'm going to find this meeting that he's requested and it has a list of people that he send it to him so I assume that they're going to be wanting to Beach included in my meeting so I'm going to select that I'm going to right click and copy  and then I'm going to go back to the contacts send find my group here and then I'm going to add those guys right there so I click on paste and once I pasted that information and then I can click on ADD and then this should show up in my group now I noticed that I didn't get Dexter in there so I'll go back there one more time and select Dexter do you mail so there he is copy that and go back to my contacts that's where this is at and I'm going to the him Pace that now there's one other thing that I can do after I've added that maybe I know that Georgie was not in that there's George araby she's added now as well so I've got all the people that are that I want in my contact group I'm ready to move forward okay so that's how you can add stop a group and the nice thing about that is if you go back to your mail all you have to do then to send a email to everybody in that group that you got select is it's to compose an email and you just say this case technology  which click on technology and am I Technology Group is not going to get that email so the last thing I can tell you about is tasks you can click on mass at the bottom here and you'll notice  that one of the tasks that I had for myself was to study Gmail and create an instructional podcast these things and so now my task is complete so I click a little check you know but maybe there's some other thing that I want to add to my tasks so I'm going to put it create a podcast about Google Sheets that might be the next thing I'm going to do and so there it is that's my task now that's under WCA projects I can create a new project under a new name I can create a new list known what I have John I should be personal tasks not person tasks up on if you're the kind of person that is task-oriented this would be a good place to have put all the things that you have this test to do the specially since their school related tasks many times so I hope this podcast was helpful
