Hide share box
In our efforts to continue improving the quality of education at Westminster Christian Academy, we are implementing new curriculum in preschool through 2nd grade on both campuses. Manners of the Heart is an instructional program designed to build character, strengthen morals and increase respectfulness. Paired with our rigorous Biblically integrated academic offerings, we will continue equipping students with the head knowledge to lead and the heart knowledge to lead in the right direction.

Students in 3rd and 4th grade on the Opelousas Campus honored all who served in the U.S. Military through a special Veterans Day program featuring patriotic songs. 6th Grade students and Room Moms greeting the veterans, and all of our special guests, with gracious smiles and delicious food. Mr. Vice, a World War 2 Veteran, spoke to the students, parents, and veterans about armies throughout the years and brought their attention to the spiritual army that no man can count. “While there are thousands that have died for each of us to have the freedom we have today, One died…Jesus Christ…for us ALL to have eternal freedom and salvation in Him,” Mr. Vice declared. We cannot properly declare with words the gratitude and honor we have for all veterans who have served our country.
