In an effort to remember what the Lord has done, we honor the legacy of Westminster Christian Academy in the life of Helen Hughes - a current grandparent and board member, and former parent and founding Parents' Club president.Uploaded Jan 27, 2015. Also listed in About Us, Parents, and 2 more
Mr. Gladding challenged our students to be careful of the story they are writing. "Does your story only speak about YOU and the things YOU have accomplished or does it give GOD glory?" Mr. Gladding read from Acts 7:1-60.
We pray for the moving of the Holy Spirit as God continues to move this week. We praise God for His glory and honor and the One who sees and reaches out to the hurting and draws all men unto Himself.
Mr. Gladding spoke on 2nd Corinthians 12:1-10, which says "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me..." Mr. Gladding revealed rejoicing in all things should, therefore, be a rejoicing in the cross where all blessings were purchased for us at the cost of the death of Jesus Christ.
The students also enjoyed Community time where they were able to eat BBQ hamburgers, read notes from classmates in their Be A Real Friend bags, played games and fellowshipped with one another. WCA would like to thank Mr. Gladding for sharing his knowledge and heart with our students last week.
