In an effort to remember what the Lord has done, we honor the legacy of Westminster Christian Academy in the life of Helen Hughes - a current grandparent and board member, and former parent and founding Parents' Club president.Uploaded Jan 27, 2015. Also listed in About Us, Parents, and 2 more
Mr. Gladding spoke from Matthew 5:17-20, which says, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." In an age of relativism, it is important for our students to hear this powerful message about the standard by which we should live. “The standard” is God’s alone and God’s standards do not change.
We pray that God's anointing continues in the lives of our world changers!
Mr. Gladding spoke on 2nd Corinthians 12:1-10, which says "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me..." Mr. Gladding revealed rejoicing in all things should, therefore, be a rejoicing in the cross where all blessings were purchased for us at the cost of the death of Jesus Christ.
The students also enjoyed Community time where they were able to eat BBQ hamburgers, read notes from classmates in their Be A Real Friend bags, played games and fellowshipped with one another. WCA would like to thank Mr. Gladding for sharing his knowledge and heart with our students last week.
