SPRING PRESCHOOL PARENT'S APPRECIATION

In carpool Monday morning, the Opelousas campus Preschool Parents were served a cup of refreshing lemonade and a bag of yummy cookies to show gratitude for a fantastic year. ALL THE KINGS' WORKERS

Today the Lafayette Campus K5 classes had their end of the year production, "The Kings' Workers" led by Mrs. Sierra. The children had speaking parts and sang about Gods' plan for their life, all of the possibilities, and the endless potential they have through Him. Today the Lafayette Campus K5 classes had their end of the year production, "The Kings' Workers" led by Mrs. Sierra. The children had speaking parts and sang about Gods' plan for their life, all of the possibilities, and the endless potential they have through Him. In this video, they recite Proverbs 20:11.

BEAUTIFUL GIFTS!

Ms. King and Ms. Speyrers' 1st-grade classes went on a field trip to Clayfish Bisque in Lafayette on Tuesday, May 2nd. The students were able to paint clay picture gifts for Mother's Day. They also visited the Hillard Museum and had the chance to draw their favorite art pieces on the front of postcards.

FUN DAYS AHEAD...

As the end of the academic year draws closer, Lafayette Student Council works harder! They will be hosting Wet and Wacky Wednesday for our 4th,5th, and 6th grade students on May 10th from 12:30-2:30. Student Council has met to collaborate and plan this special day to celebrate the end of an accomplished year and they will be releasing ALL the details via flyer early next week.

GODS' PEOPLE ON THE MOVE

The Lafayette Campus is celebrating K5's journey to Elementary by having it's annual Pioneer Day. Pioneer attire was worn by all attendees and it looked like an authentic "Little House on the Prairie" scene. The K5 students made butter, played marbles and horseshoes, had sack races, panned for gold, and made soap. The morning ended with a family picnic of all participants! Many thanks to our volunteer parents that made this special event a huge success!

SHELBY MYERS RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP!

Congratulations to Shelby Myers for receiving the Louisiana Sheriff's Office Scholarship from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in the amount of $500.00. Shelby is planning to attend in LSU in the fall and major in Physics and Math.

FREEDOM OF PRAYING!

The privilege of celebrating the freedom of praying to the one true and living God of the Bible is afforded to our nation. We are so proud of the students as they prayed for the federal, state, and local government for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4th. After the assembly, parents, and students visited and ate lunch under the pavilion.
