Mrs. Sonbuchner referred to a book based on Matthew 25:40 “The King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” The book gave some wonderful examples of giving to Christ. Mrs. Sonbuchner reminded students of the “Jesus Cares” opportunities to support families in need this holiday season. The opportunities and lesson from this morning should remind us all of the importance of giving of our time and treasured possessions at Christmas.
