WCA Lafayette Raises Over $3,000 for Pregnancy Clinic

As a result of their effort, they were able to collect $3,889.52, which far exceeded their expectations. On Monday, March 15, Westminster Christian Academy students and faculty members were excited to present the check to Patrice Lewis, Executive Director of The Pregnancy Center & Clinic.

“God is so good and faithful,” stated Ms. Lewis, “He has provided for the clinic in amazing ways. Typically, we raise funds by speaking at area churches, but God has been blessing us with gifts from many new individuals and groups.”

The Pregnancy Center & Clinic provides free services to women in Acadiana. Mothers and expecting mothers who need pregnancy counseling, testing or an ultrasound, maternity, and infant products, or a referral for medical care and assistance, can receive this help from the trained professionals at the clinic.

When asked about the success of the coin drive, Mission Team Sponsor, Tracy Buzzard, commented, “Our Westminster Christian Academy families are very generous. And I’m proud of the students for organizing and pulling off such a great coin drive benefiting the needs in our community.”
