Mr. Rapinchuk believes in cultivating a community that focuses on teaching Christ in all aspects of education. His years of experience in the classroom equipped him with a strategy for providing engaging, high-quality education for all students.
“I am excited to be a part of the Westminster family! I believe my experience and passion for Christ-centered education will help foster excellence at WCA,” Mr. Rapinchuk commented.
Mr. Rapinchuk’s university training began with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and two minors (Special Education and Bible) from Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, Florida. That foundation led to his Masters in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, FL.
After six years of teaching second and third graders in Polk County, FL, God called Mr. Rapinchuk and his family to the small town of Peoria, IA. At Peoria Christian Academy, Mr. Rapinchuk helped the school go through its first accreditation process while he served as Administrator and Resource Director. After five years in Iowa, God led them to a new ministry at Parkview Christian Academy in Yorkville, IL where Mr. Rapinchuk served as lower school principal.
With a passion for obedience, Mr. Rapinchuk and his family are thrilled that God called them back to the south. He and his wife Crystal have been married for 16 years, and they have three kids, Dakoda (13), Landon (11), and Bayleigh (5). “Our family is ready to move back to the south. My wife is a Florida native and both of our boys were born in Florida, so we’re happy to move back to a warmer climate. Our daughter is excited her new home will have plenty of lizards for her to catch!”
When asked about welcoming Mr. Rapinchuk to Westminster, Head of School Mr. Scott Davis remarked, “Mr. Rapinchuk has just the kinds of experiences we were looking for in our next principal. His knowledge and passion for Biblical integration as well as excellent and engaging instruction is something that will fit in well with the WCA Family. We are thrilled to have Mr. Rapinchuk join us and to help us continue to grow in excellence.”
