Early Monday morning, August 29th, Mrs. Standiford spoke to our Opelousas Elementary students about being like Jesus. She revealed about how we are created in God's image for His glory! Mrs. Standiford also discussed that since we are created in God's image He gives us special abilities that other creatures do not have including the ability to think, talk, read, have emotions, make choices, and communicate. All of these abilities are privileges that we have to use to bring Him glory. We bring God glory by bearing His image. When people look at us, they should see Christ because we are his image bearers.
