Our Superintendent

Merida Brooks is currently the Headmaster of Westminster Christian academy. God has uniquely gifted Mrs. Brooks for this service. Merida first began at WCA as a parent, but then was quickly recruited to teach elementary, where she demonstrated a unique wisdom based style of discipline and training that she and her husband, Sam, aquired through the study of the Bible and the practical training of raising their own children. Merida was soon selected by the Board to establish WCA at Lafayette, and after seeing that project to fruition, she thought she would retire, but God had other plans. The WCA Board of Trustees, sensing that Merida had the exact character and qualities required for leading this institution, has extended her a two year contract, which she accepted, and now the entire WCA community is looking forward to her continued leadership.
